- Camp Nurse RN
Description
Are you ready for the best summer of your life? Spending the summer at Camp Paivika in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest, working and playing with amazing campers and co-workers is guaranteed to change your life. As a Camp Nurse RN you will work with a dynamic group of individuals to bring the joy of summer camp to campers with various physical and/or developmental disabilities. Campers range in age from children through adults and disabilities may be mild to profound. You will work with at least one other nurse and reside in a private room in the Camp Health Care Center. Sessions are 5 nights in length with two nights off in between. The camp season begins June 8th with staff training and ends on August 5. The nursing staff are responsible for the overall health of both our campers and staff and duties include medication management, first aid, daily care interventions such as catheterization, g-tube care, breathing treatments and diabetic care.
This is an amazing opportunity for people who are interested in pursuing a related field of study - for people who love sharing the outdoors with others - for people who love to play - for people who just love to have a great time and make a difference at the same time!
