Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care and support services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN). This role includes assisting with daily patient activities, supporting mobility and comfort, and maintaining a safe environment. CNAs perform duties within the scope of their role and do not administer medications, provide therapy, or assume independent responsibility for patient care. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within the scope of the CNA role
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), hygiene, mobility, and comfort
Support nursing staff by performing delegated care tasks
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurses
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and care guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
Education & Training
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (per state regulations)
Current BLS certification required
Experience
No experience required
Preferred: 23 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation facility, or skilled nursing unit
