Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.
Union: Represented by SEIU Local 105.
Training: Includes paid sessions, ongoing development, and a structured onboarding plan. Initial travel to Denver (2–4 weeks) may be required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct reproductive health exams and screenings
- Diagnose and treat STIs
- Provide birth control education and methods
- Participate in abortion services
- Deliver excellent patient care and education
Starting Pay: $51.23–$67.16/hour (includes $2/hour travel differential) (based on experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare or with PPRM)
Additional Pay:
- +$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)
Relocation Bonus: out-of-state moves: $6,000 / In-state moves if living at least a 2.5-hour distance from the new work location: $3,000
Travel Details: Ideal candidates who reside within a 45-mile radius of the Albuquerque area are preferred.
Travel Requirements: This is a travel APN position that requires regular travel to any of our health centers, including those located in rural areas of Colorado and New Mexico.
Protocols:
COVID-19: Vaccine or mask required for patient-facing roles
Flu: Vaccine or mask required during flu season (Oct–Apr)
Background check required
Requirements
- Active NP or CNM license in the state where care will be provided (e.g., Colorado or New Mexico)
- 1+ year experience in reproductive health or prior experience with PPRM
- National certification as NP or CNM
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
