Description
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the statewide Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Consortium involving both independent and guided decision-making and management of Consortium related matters, as set forth by the Director.
- Supports the Director and the business of the Consortium in coordination with constituencies from all 9 Indiana University (IU) campuses including: registrars, campus deans, directors, department chairs, Human Resources personnel, marketing personnel, technology personnel, financial personnel, student advisors, schedulers, faculty, and students.
- Provides management of the support required to establish and integrate the evaluation functions within the RN-BSN Consortium; supports data collection and aggregation, retrieval, and management; assists the Evaluation Committee with preparation of various evaluation reports for the RN-BSN Consortium.
- Implements and utilizes University information systems and databases.
- Provides administrative support to executives, exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Utilizes business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email promptly, courteously, and accurately.
- Manages executive's calendar, meetings, travel, correspondence, and budget.
- Acts as informal resource for colleagues with less experience; responds to more complex or escalated inquiries.
- Identifies, enhances, and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided.
- May perform other duties related to maintaining an internal website and/or working with social media.

EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
Required
- 4 years of relevant experience
- Administrative Assistant experience

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills
- Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective conflict management skills
- Proficiency using word processing, databases, spreadsheets, presentations, e-mail, calendaring, and desktop publishing programs. Knowledge of basic navigation in web/internet-based applications.
- Detailed-oriented, analytical, and futuristic thinker
- Ability to problem solve, self-start, function independently, and see the whole and relationships to the parts
- Ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Knowledge of University Administrative Information Systems (travel, ordering, bill paying, time keeping, student information lookups, learning management system, and data extraction)
Work Location
This is a fully remote position. However, this is subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
Advertised Salary
$20 - $22 per hour based on experience.
