We are seeking a RN to join our outpatient clinic team at Riley Hospital for Children, located at 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Indianapolis. This is a full-time, position with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekend or holiday shifts are required. The RN will work exclusively in the clinic setting, supporting various surgery service lines. Responsibilities include taking vitals, interviewing and assessing patients, assisting with procedures, supporting clinic-based admissions, and performing nursing tasks such as suture removal and dressing changes. This role does not involve phone triage. The RN will float between the Surgery MSA and the newly developed Neurosurgery space opening in 2026. Pediatric experience is preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
No Holidays! No weekends!
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
- Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
