Summary

Join Lee Health as an Outpatient Cardiology RN in our Stress Lab, where youll work alongside cardiologists and EKG technicians to perform routine and nuclear stress tests, as well as stress echocardiograms under direct cardiologist supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a specialized outpatient setting while helping patients receive exceptional cardiac care.

Responsible for providing an excellent patient experience while delivering and documenting safe patient care through utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with the physician, practice leadership and other care team members. Provides oversight and coordination of nursing care delivered in the practice setting or telephonically, ensuring the care delivered is effective, efficient and achieves desired patient outcomes. responsible for supporting and guiding the care team in collaboration with the practice and physician leadership based on treatment plan, established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Demonstrates proficient utilization of available tools and resources which supports the unlicensed and licensed clinical staff including but not limited to: educating, mentoring, competency validation and evaluating. Contributes to the provision of quality care in the office setting through excellence in customer service and utilization of performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. This position has the knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills and behaviors appropriate to serve as a resource for internal and external customers regarding patient care.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required (Associate degree or diploma school).

Experience: 3 years of nursing experience preferred. Physician practice/outpatient experience preferred.

Certification: BLS required in specialty areas.

License: Florida Registered Nurse required.

Other: Above average communication skills. Adaptable and participative with technology changes.
