*Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre‑Op (Nights)* *Location:* Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie, TX *Department:* Pre‑Op Phase 2 Holding *Status:* Full‑Time *Schedule:* *Nights, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, set schedule* *Unit Size:* *4‑bed unit* *New Opportunity - Seeking motivated, flexible, and initiative‑driven RNs* *Position Summary* This newly created *Night Shift Pre‑Op RN* role supports the pre‑operative and Phase 2 preparation of inpatients and surgical patients during overnight hours. As a key part of the perioperative team, you will help ensure safe, timely readiness for next‑day surgeries by performing assessments, completing documentation, and preparing patients in a 4‑bed pre‑op area. Job Summary As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses.
