Description

This position is responsible for all care and supervision of the medical center & nursing functions in our camp community.  The position includes, but is not limited to, triage and treatment, medication administration, preventative care, and caring for ill and injured campers and staff.

• Triage and care for all sick or injured campers and staff
• Daily medication administration
• Immediate response to emergencies
• Keeping clear records of med admin and camper/staff treatments
• Assist with ordering and inventorying cleaning and other supplies.
• Launder health center and camp linens when necessary
• Daytime duty and some nighttime duty are required

Requirements

Contracts available 3-7 weeks between June 15 - August 9

Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
Ability to collaborate well and be a team player
Ability to work with limited supervision & in a flexible environment
Willingness to work independently and with other staff, including mentoring nursing students
Nursing or PA license in Massachusetts (we'll help facilitate)
