Primary duties include teaching both introductory and upper-division courses in nursing (didactic, laboratory, clinical); scholarship involvement; service at the department, university, community, and professional levels; mentoring students; and working cooperatively with faculty and staff across the campus.
Requirements
Christian commitment and an ability to integrate elements of the Christian faith into course materials.
Doctorate in nursing (PhD, DNP) or related field preferred (MSN required if doctorate not in nursing).
Possession of/eligible for an unencumbered Tennessee Nursing License.
Individuals with educational preparation and teaching/practice experiences in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Primary Care, Pediatrics, Maternal/Newborn, Medical/Surgical Nursing, and Intensive Care. Recent teaching, clinical experience, online teaching, and research experience desirable.
