Logan Health is seeking a Trauma Program Manager, RN to lead and advance our trauma program in Northwest Montana. This role partners closely with the Trauma Medical Director and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen trauma care, improve outcomes, support education and drive performance improvement across the organization.
You do not need to have previously held the title of Trauma Program Manager to be considered.
We welcome experienced trauma professionals whose backgrounds may include Trauma Program Coordinator, Trauma Coordinator, Trauma Performance Improvement, Trauma Quality, Trauma Nurse Educator, Emergency Department leadership or significant trauma nursing experience. Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for Montana licensure.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years' previous work experience in Trauma nursing required.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience caring for trauma patients.
Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing, EMS and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ability to analyze clinical data, identify opportunities for improvement and coordinate follow-through.
Required Certifications / Designations - The following certifications/designations must be successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN)
TNCC Course Director
Previous Trauma Program Manager or Trauma Program Coordinator experience
Emergency Department nursing or leadership experience
Trauma performance improvement or quality experience
Trauma registry or clinical data experience
Trauma education or staff development experience
Experience developing or implementing trauma protocols, policies or processes
Experience with trauma program verification, accreditation or regulatory requirements
Master's degree in Nursing or related field
Don't have every preferred qualification? We still encourage you to apply. Direct Trauma Program Manager experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome candidates with strong trauma nursing experience and backgrounds in trauma program coordination, performance improvement, education or emergency nursing leadership.
