Principal Senior Living Group owns and manages personal care homes and assisted living communities for the elderly in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Missouri and Kansas.
Company History
Principal Senior Living Group (“PSLG”) was founded in 1997 by David Winters and Kyle Diekmann who brought over sixty (60) years combined experience in the senior living industry. Their hands on approach over the years has given them a keen understanding of the business and what it takes to be successful.
Mr. Winters started his career as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1973 and worked his way up the corporate ladder eventually becoming Vice President of Operations. In 1994, he moved into assisted living as President of American ElderServe which later merged with Atria.
Mr. Diekmann started in the industry in the marketing of Continuing Care Retirement Communities in 1983. His marketing and operations experience covers all types of senior living from rental retirement communities, to assisted living and memory care communities. Prior to co-founding PSLG, Mr. Diekmann was the Senior Vice President of a public company with forty-two properties in the Southeast.
As of 2014, PSLG has seventeen communities in five states (Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Kansas and Missouri with five additional communities under construction.
