Description

One of the nation's largest public health care systems is seeking a Deputy Chief Nursing Officer to help lead nursing operations across a vast, mission-driven network. This is a chance to shape the quality of care for over a million patients a year and step directly into the CNO's shoes when needed. What you'll do:

• Lead day-to-day nursing operations and drive quality, engagement, and retention
• Build the staffing and performance strategies that keep care running at scale
• Partner with Executive Leadership, medical, and nursing leadership to shape clinical integration and standards
• Champion nursing at the leadership table and step in as CNO when called on

Compensation: $250,000 - $295,000 plus a defined benefit pension, strong medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous PTO, and potential Loan Forgiveness eligibility.

Requirements

What you'll bring:

• Active New York State RN license (current NYSED registration)
• BSN required; Master's in Nursing Administration or related field strongly preferred
• 6+ years of nursing experience, including 4+ years of progressive nursing management
• Proven leadership across complex, large-scale health care operations
