Job Summary As Director of Nursing, you oversee nursing practice in various healthcare settings. You'll focus on inpatient and outpatient units in multiple facilities, utilizing your clinical expertise effectively. Your scope includes patient care areas like social services, ambulatory care, cardiology, respiratory, rehab, pharmacy, emergency medicine, and nursing. You will set goals for nursing units. Goals will align with patient care goals. You will create and implement clinical protocols, nursing policies, and patient care models. Initiatives to improve nursing quality will be led by you.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Overseeing nursing services within your designated area within our organization.
• Developing and executing operation plans for the nursing services that align with the organization's business goals.
• Keeping track of daily performance, adjusting when necessary to maintain set productivity standards.
• Partnering on quality improvement goals for your unit.
• Communicating effectively with senior management and quality councils.
• Examining any adverse occurrences, dissecting data and findings, recognizing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Working alongside non-nursing departments to establish procedures and deal with issues to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
• Participating in regular clinical rounds to identify patient needs through room, care environment, and safety rounds.
• Ensuring your area of clinical care complies with all legal, regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements.
• Designing and implementing metrics, reports, and tools to monitor service delivery and identify areas for improvement and further learning.
• Coordinating with nurses, physicians, and managers to improve patient care. Promoting communication within the department for safety.

• Possess exceptional skills in verbal and written communication, along with the capability to deliver impressive presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS
• EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree
• EXPERIENCE - (3) Three Years of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION-Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR): BLS or CPR Required.
