Bodwell High School a fully accredited BC independent day and boarding school serving both local Canadian and international students in Grades 8-12 on its North Vancouver campus. Our Boarding Program offers a week-round youth development program for 300 on-site weekday and full boarders.

We are recruiting candidates for a full-time nurse position. Applicants must be LPNs or RNs and available to start on May 1.

Shifts will primarily occur during daytime hours, 5 days per week, generally scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Mondays, and 7:45 am to 3:45 pm Tuesday to Friday. Nurses may not be scheduled during certain school breaks, holidays, and Pro-D days. However, during the summer break, nurses will be required to work the majority of the program period to support summer camp operations, with some time off scheduled throughout the summer.

The successful candidate should be:

• Registered with BCCNM as an LPN or Registered Nurse
• Possess skills and experience in working with adolescent mental health (important pre-requisite)
• Have demonstrated capability of handling emergencies
• Enjoy working independently
• Hold a valid BC driver’s license and be comfortable transporting students to appointments (required)
  
  Candidates must be positive role models in their own daily habits and life outlook. Backgrounds in youth guidance and counselling, life skill mentorship and youth leadership are assets. Overseas and multicultural experiences are very helpful to the job.
