Camp Lokanda is seeking nursing staff to join our Health Center team for Summer 2027, from June 16 through August 11, 2027.

About the Position
Our Health Center team includes a physician, Health Center Director, RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants who work together to support the health and well-being of our campers and staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and administering medications in accordance with applicable requirements and camp procedures.
• Evaluating and caring for campers and staff who are sick or injured, within the scope of your license and training.
• Maintaining appropriate health records and documentation.
• Collaborating with the physician, Health Center Director, and other members of the Health Center team.
• Helping maintain a safe, supportive, and caring environment for everyone at camp.

Schedule
Nursing staff work six days per week, with scheduled time off each day. Specific schedules and responsibilities will be discussed during the hiring process.

About Camp Lokanda:
Camp Lokanda is a premier co-ed sleep-away camp located in the amazing Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York (approximately 2 hours from New York City).  We have been around since 1937 and have approximately 400 campers ranging from ages 7 to 16. To look after so many campers, we invite 250 staff to join us from all over the world.
