Home Infusion Nurse Manager
Salary or Pay Range: $169,300.00 - $342,300.00
The Home Infusion Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of assigned patient care areas, in order to provide quality, individualized patient care and support of UC Davis Health philosophies. The Home Infusion Nurse Manager will lead staff to model a professional practice environment by: providing a clinically competent staff; encouraging strong interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication; supporting autonomy and accountability; providing staff opportunities for in-service and formal education; stressing the importance of continuous learning; and supporting a culture where concern for the patient is paramount. The Home Infusion Nurse Manager assumes fiscal responsibility through preparation of unit budgets, supports research, participates in both long and short term strategic planning, and assures patient advocacy. The Home Infusion Nurse Manager is accountable to the Assistant Chief Pharmacy Officer, Home Infusion and the Ambulatory Chief Nursing Executive.
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), plus either a completed Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, or active enrollment in a Master’s program with completion required within three (3) years of hire. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), combined with a completed Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN or MS), is accepted.
- 5 years of nursing experience
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a Home Infusion, Home Health, or Infusion Clinic setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet specialty specific clinical competencies for assigned area.
- Working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of health care technology within specialty area.
- Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues.
- Full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in field of practice (if appropriate), e.g., Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI), Vascular Access-Board Certified (VA-BC), Nurse Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC), or Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified (NEA-BC)
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN or MS)
- Home Infusion Pharmacy experience
- Oncology experience
- Infusion Clinic experience
