Nurse Manager, Infusion & Immunotherapy Center

Valley Medical Center & Clinics is seeking an experienced and collaborative healthcare leader to join our Cancer Services team as the Nurse Manager of Infusion & Immunotherapy Center. Reporting directly to the Director of Cancer Service Line, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operational management, staff leadership, and clinical support functions of the Infusion and Immunotherapy Center.

About the Role

The Nurse Manager of Infusion & Immunotherapy Center oversees daily operations of the infusion center, supporting nursing and support staff while partnering closely with physicians and Cancer Services leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence, supporting staff engagement, and helping implement strategic initiatives established by Cancer Services leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Infusion & Immunotherapy Center
• Supervise, coach, and support nursing and support staff
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, workflow coordination, and operational efficiencies
• Partner with physicians and department leadership to support high-quality patient care and service excellence
• Support budget management, resource utilization, and departmental goals
• Assist in developing and monitoring quality and performance improvement initiatives
• Support regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness efforts
• Address operational challenges, staff concerns, and conflict resolution as needed
• Participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, and professional development
• Foster a collaborative, patient-focused, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

Required

• Current Washington State RN license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of oncology or relevant healthcare operations experience
• Minimum three (3) years of management or supervisory experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred

• Master’s degree
• OCN, AOCNP, or AOCNS certification
• Experience in a unionized healthcare environment
• Experience with Epic and Microsoft Office applications
