Description

The Nursing Supervisor functions under the direction of the Director of Nursing. They are responsible for on-shift coordination of care and treatment for our students in maintaining their health and wellbeing by ensuring that physicians’ orders, plans of care and appropriate policies, procedures and protocols are carried out by the nursing staff on-duty. The Nursing supervisor assesses students’ medical status routinely and as needed and directly supervises LPN’s, CNA’s, and MA’s providing medical care to students of Crystal Springs in the absence of the Director of Nursing. The Nursing Supervisor must at all times maintain a professional demeanor and have the ability to multi-task. The Nursing Supervisor helps ensure that all eligible UAP’s are trained and competent with the various delegated nursing tasks.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse Nurse currently licensed in the State of Massachusetts in good standing

Must hold a valid driver’s license for more than one year and be ready, willing and able to drive the Company’s wheelchair and/or mini-vans safely according to Massachusetts driving laws

Must be able to pass CORI & SORI checks
