Description

The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering education and training programs for nursing staff. This role includes orientation, mentoring, and ongoing competency development, as well as oversight of clinical and regulatory training requirements. Key areas include clinical skills validation, dementia education, CPR training, feeding assistant instruction, nurse aide education, and compliance-based training initiatives

Requirements

•         Active RN license required.
•         Minimum of 3–5 years of long-term care experience required.
•         Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
•         Experience in adult education and staff training preferred.
•         Prior experience as a nurse supervisor or manager preferred.
•         Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and compliance requirements.
•         Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
•         Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and goal-oriented mindset.
•         Self-motivated with strong initiative and a commitment to team development and success.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to provide training across all shifts in a 24/7 environment.
